God, The Master Sculptor

God is truly the Master Sculptor. I find an amazing variety of composition and proportions, of shapes, colors, textures, harmonies, and details. All of these are artistic concepts, and God achieves them to perfection. The more I study God's sculptures, the more I admire His creative power and I want to share my admiration with you. From the idea stage to the finished sculpture, we will look at God's sculptural masterpieces from the perspective of the sculpting process. We will marvel together at the artistic beauty of His works.

My best tools are my hands. They provide me the most basic connection with the clay. But my hands have limitations. Some of the tools I use to do the things my hands cannot are wire loop tools, gouges, and knives. But you will not find any of my tools in God's toolbox. In a way His tools are actually much simpler, yet infinitely more profound. For example, Genesis 1:3 says, "Then God said, 'Let there be light' and there was light." All He had to do was open His mouth and speak, and something as amazing as light was made!
